DAYTONA BEACH, FL (July 8, 2011) – Find out how easy it is to enroll in one of Daytona State College’s bachelor degree programs by attending an information session at our New Smyrna Beach-Edgewater, DeLand or Flagler/Palm Coast campuses.

Learn more about the Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management (BAS), any of the five specializations for the Bachelor of Science in Education (BSED), or Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology. Explore your possibilities, meet faculty and staff, learn about our flexible schedules, and how to apply for financial aid. Classes start Aug. 29.

Where: DeLand Campus, Academic Hall (bldg. 4), 1155 County Road 4139, DeLand

When: Tuesday, July 26, from 5 – 6:30 p.m.
Where: Flagler/Palm Coast Campus, Academic Hall (bldg. 2), 3000 Palm Coast Parkway S.E., Palm Coast

As a four-year degree granting institution dedicated to being the destination of choice for higher education in our region, Daytona State College has expanded program and degree offerings, providing access, more choices and opportunity to all who desire to improve their lives through higher education.

Since 1957, Daytona State College has evolved from a small campus into an academically superior multi-campus institution providing educational and cultural programs for the citizens of Volusia and Flagler counties. In 2006, the college was authorized to begin offering its first bachelor's degree - the Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management. In 2009, the college also began offering five specialized bachelor's degrees in Education. In 2010, the college also began offering the Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology with three specialties.

A leader in the area's workforce and economic development initiatives, Daytona State College is continually developing new technological means to deliver educational services to the community. Leading the list is the Advanced Technology College, an innovative educational partnership between the College and the business communities of Volusia and Flagler counties. The ATC offers opportunities for high school students and adult community college students to pursue technology-based fields.
