DAYTONA BEACH, FL (Sept. 1, 2011) – The fourth annual Resource Fair, to be presented by the Women’s Center at Daytona State College, will bring together untapped resources from around the college on Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Bergengren Hall (Bldg. 110), Rm. 112 on the Daytona Beach Campus, 1200 W. International Speedway Blvd.
“It’s Never Too Late to Educate - Decades of Resources” will provide an opportunity for a variety of college departments to showcase their areas of expertise, allowing students to take advantage of programs they might otherwise not be aware of.
“There are many college resources available to students that will improve their chances of being successful,” said Judith Campbell, associate vice president, Division of Alternative Student Services. “However, in order for these resources to be of benefit, students must first be aware of the variety of programs and services that are available, such as tuition, book and child care assistance, as well as opportunities to explore degree programs that can lead to higher paying jobs.”
