Testing and Office Hours

The SDS department includes three private testing rooms and an adaptive computer lab on the Daytona Beach Campus. The SDS Advisors serving the DeLand, Deltona, New Smyrna Beach/Edgewater, and Flagler/Palm Coast Campuses can arrange for alternative locations for students with disabilities to take their tests.

The SDS staff is comprised of the SDS Director and six SDS Advisors. SDS Advisors are available on all campuses Monday to Friday, and serving New Smyrna Beach/Edgewater on Wednesday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The SDS office provides alternative testing based on certain accommodations in the classroom, SDS office, or a suitable authorized location at the College.

Student Disability Services

Location: Whetherell Annex, Room 108

The college will close at 5pm prior to all federal holidays that are observed by the college such as the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and the day before Independence Day (if a weekday). The college is closed on the following days and Student Disability and Counseling Services will not be available: 

• December 16th, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. – January 3, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. – Holiday Break
• January 16th, 2012 – Martin Luther King Day
• March 9, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. – March 19, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. – Spring Break
• May 28, 2012 – Memorial Day
• July 4, 2012 – Independence Day

Monday - Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
 Friday:  8:00a.m. to 12:00 noon
